Life Before Facilities ManagementWhile the big blonde beard is now gone, my commitment to professional development and advancing the Facilities Management profession is stronger than ever.
I've been a leader and practitioner in facilities management since 2005 however that isn't where I started. I began my career in Finance as an internal auditor and grew to serve as a Divisional Controller . At my request I then moved laterally into an operations role and served as Fleet and Distribution Manager. Eventually I established my own management consulting firm where I spent just over six years engaging in organizational design and effectiveness. |
My CommitmentI remain active in the International Facility Management Association, the Academic Physical Plant Association, and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. I am fully credentialled in each as a CFM, CEFP, and MRICS.
I carry the title of a Chartered Facilities Management Surveyor. I am also fully certified as a management consultant with the CMC designation from the Canadian Association of Management Consultants. I also hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree and MBA from the Edwards School of Business at the University of Saskatchewan. |
